Can anyone confirm that the only parts that can be swapped (direct bolt on) from a 6th gen civic to a 7th gen civic are the clutch and flywheel?
That means that the clutch and flywheel from a ek3/ek9/ek4 can fit a d15 or a d17 ES 1/2/5/8.

Hi there,
thanks for your input, I was just interested to know. My clutch is fine.
It is amazing to see how these two models of civics (6th & 7th gens) are completely different except for the clutch and flywheel.:D

usually whan car manufacturers upgrade there engines, the block and the bottom end don,t change much.ford and chrevolet has been using the same V8 engine block for over 40 years.amazing ain't it..
